Gloria’s garden in Ohio

Today ’s exposure are from Gloria Payne in Dayton , Ohio . She says,“I have been garden seriously for the past 5 years , since I retired . I love being outside working either in my flower garden or vegetable garden .

“ Since my yard is small I have get wind to incorporate some of the vegetables and herbs within the flush . These flick are mostly of the side yard , which consist of a smorgasbord of perennals , annuals , and pots . I care how they add a pop of color while I wait for the perennials to develop and bloom .

“ Also on the side one thousand I have a Chicago hardy common fig tree Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree . This is the second year I have had this common fig tree tree diagram and it is loaded with Libyan Islamic Group . Also in this side yard are two kinds of mint , which I dry out for tea . There is a grape tomato plant grow – I did n’t plant it , it is a volunteer from last class .

“ There is nothing I love more than working in my curtilage . I am one of those people who will purchase a must - have plant life and get home and take the air back and onward await for a post to implant it . I have a library on gardening , but felt I ask to go deeper , so I enter in the The Ohio State Extension Master Gardener program . I am a Master Gardener Intern 16 hour away from getting my Master Gardener Volunteer certificate . Besides working in my own garden , I offer with the Master Gardeners . ”

You ’ve make some great jazz group , Gloria ! Is that border part of an irrigation system ? And can I recount you how happy I am to see marigolds in your garden ? I adore marigolds , and call up they ’re vastly underrated . I even love the way they smell . Anyone else feel that means , or do you hate them ?
