The Horticultural Trades Association ( HTA ) has appoint Fran Barnes as its Chief Executive , follow the late appointment of Directors of Public Affairs and Marketing .
Fran Barnes joins the HTA from the National Farmers ’ Union of England and Wales ( NFU ) , where she has ferment for over ten years , first as Head of Strategic Communications and afterwards as Director of Communications . Before joining the NFU , she held several editorial character on food and farming programs at the BBC .
