" It ’s good to be back ! " That ’s what most of the exhibitor felt when entering the Shanghai New International Expo Centre , where the Hortiflorexpo IPM Shanghai kick off today . As the first offline enceinte - scale horticultural exposition after the pandemic to take place in the region , it welcomed many exhibitors and visitors from home and abroad , although some still had to overlook the show because of difficulties traveling .

Effects of the pandemicThe pandemic has drastically affected the collaboration between many external suppliers and Formosan company . Because of the hard-and-fast travelling restrictions and long quarantine point , many projection were postponed or even call off . Also , many labor were delay because of the pandemic ’s essence on the supply chemical chain . At the commencement of this year , China reopened its edge to international visitors for the first time since it imposed travel restrictions in March 2020 . The spirits were eminent , at least for those who could chaffer , since some masses still had to cancel their visit because they were not granted a visa .
New kind and new technology are the focusing of the show . The Chinese horticultural market is developing rapidly , and more and more projects are being build . How to better develop horticulture according to local condition is everyone ’s fear .

Three daysThe IPM live on for three days , with Saturday seeing chiefly consumers visit . There are three pavilions in the show ; W1 , which principally focalize on showing of garden machinery , garden tools , fresh - cut peak , floral material , and the Dutch pavilion . W2 , which has cut - edge nursery technology and supporting equipment . And W3 , where you may see seeds , germ balls , seedlings , gardening tools , plant food , pots , substrates , and other exhibits of various colour .
