Jane’s garden in summer and winter

Today ’s photograph are from Jane Sayed . She says,“The Dominicus coming up through the wintry trees here in Ann Arbor , Michigan , cheer me to maltreat out and take some photos . I love to look out at the pot in the winter . That made me think of how the garden looked last summer , so I hunted for a couple of demarcation picture of the garden in summer and wintertime .

“ The final photo is of my horticulture curse here . We live in a subdivision with a mountain of surrounding farming between the business firm and have a expectant cervid population . Not only have they been snacking on the junipers , but they jump the fencing protecting the plantings next to the front of our house and ate the folio off all the holly bushes ! I know from preceding experience that they will grow back , but it is a sad sight ! ”

I love hear photo of the beds in both summertime and winter from the same slant , Jane ! You ’ve got some seriously hard - play , classic plants in your garden , and they ’re beautiful . I keep remind myself to add more coneflower , shasta daisy , and astilbes to my garden , but then I get distracted by all the newfangled stuff in the nursery that turn over out to be duds … . Thanks for the monitor , and hang in there with those cervid .
