Today ’s photos are from Lisa Bauer in Seattle , Washington , who says , " I have had the recent exclusive right of being asked to participate in the last two shows at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show in Seattle at the Washington State Convention Center .   Last year I welcome a Gold Medal for overall innovation and this yr I received a Gold Medal for design and the top award for Best In Show , The Founder ’s Cup !   The garden was enliven by theShow’stheme ' Romance Blossoms ' , because it take place over Valentines day weekend .   The 840 sf garden featured a elephantine 7 ’ diameter full moon in a night sky , framed by white birch , a Scandinavian garden pavilion , circular pee feature , round patio and a pair of Great Horned owls .   The restrained plant palette showcased whites , yellowness , oranges , apricot , maroon , blue leafage and dark green .   There were over 75 different plant metal money .   All elements in the garden reinforced the giant full moon .

I graduated only two years ago fromEdmondsCommunity College with an Associates of Technical Arts Degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design .   This is neat mode to jump start up your career if you have the braveness and energy to take such a jeopardy .   The amount of planning and preparation is pall , but meeting all the great people in the horticulture concern has been really fun and rewarding .   My love for art & design has been womb-to-tomb , but my career in Landscape plan a relatively newfangled .   I do believe a key background and training in the fine arts can permeate many different disciplines . cheer to all right artistic creation and Fine Gardening!“Lisa , I remember stand in front of this garden in awe of that moonlight , and I want to mistreat into the garden and stick for a while ! Your photograph are WAY dear than mine . Thanks so much for sending them in !
