Our kitchen pot and pan cabinet had its first life as the top of a sleeping accommodation armoire .
The bottom was put down in a move and the top was thrown out to the curb . We snatched it up – flipped it over , and then created a Modern top from a recycled piece of plywood .
It now is one of the signature pieces in the kitchen – and it was completely detached !
