This research was conducted at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at Idlib University ( northwestern Syria ) , during the academic year 2023 - 2024 , to test the effect of treatment with the rooting hormone IBA ( indole butyric dot ) on the steady down rate and hurrying of some ornamental plant ( Aglaonemamodestum , Euonymus japonica , and Jasminum humile ) , and watch the optimal tightness of IBA endocrine for rooting clipping of the ornamental plants . Three concentration of the hormone were used , namely 250 , 500 , and 1000 ppm , in addition to the control ( handling with distilled and unfertile urine only ) .

The solvent showed that the tested plants wide-ranging in their response to treatment with the rooting hormone . All cuttings of the Aglaonema modestum plant were able to take shape roots even without treatment with the IBA hormone ( control ) , and the rooting rate in all intervention was 100 % . However , the purpose of the hormone conduce to a significant increase in the issue of roots take form ( 10.2 roots ) and their length ( 3.44 curium ) and the length of the treat plants ( 11.70 centimeter ) , and increasing the hormone concentration did not accomplish any substantial addition in the canvass traits .

In contrast , the cuttings of the Euonymus Camellia japonica plants did not rout until after discourse with the hormone , and the discussion with the endocrine ( the lowest concentration of 250 ppm ) achieved a substantial increase in all studied traits , rooting percentage ( 90 % ) , number of antecedent ( 7.3 roots ) , length ( 2.3 centimeter ) , and industrial plant length ( 8.05 cm ) , compared to the control . Increasing the hormone density also achieved a significant increase in the act of roots formed on the cutting , a non - meaning increase in the rooting percentage , and a non - significant lessening in stem length and plant distance .

Finally , 20 % of the cuttings of the Jasminum humile plant were rooted without treatment with the rooting hormone , but the intervention with the hormone achieved a significant increase in the rooting percentage , turn of tooth root ( 3.4 roots ) , duration ( 1.82 cm ) , and plant length ( 6.40 cm ) , compared to the control . Increasing the concentration of root hormones also achieved a significant growth in the rooting percentage and the number of roots formed on the slip , and a non - meaning increment in the duration of the beginning and the duration of the plants . The tightness of 1000 ppm reach the good results ( rooting part 60 % , number of solution 7.1 roots / cutting , root length 4.04 cm , and flora duration 10.64 cm ) .
