The Jetty Garden by Night
From time to time I brand about the amazing jetty garden my river - harp son , Bertie and his lovely Beatrice have created . The twenty-sixth August , Bank Holiday Monday was a gloriously fond and sunny twenty-four hour period and we were looking forward to a barbecue on the bulwark which looks more awful every class . You approach it down a enactment with shelf adorn with regain objects . There are porthole to give you glimpses of the river .
The groin has been smartly divide into rooms by walls of plants .
There is a dining area .

And the chef has wondrous river view as he barbecues .
Here is the reposeful area and what better to relax in than a mound ?
Everything is so healthy and well grown . I have never seen hostas like this with no slug damage and what on earth does Bertie feed them on ? He water each evening and fastidiously pulls off every biff and snail and throw them into the river . Being an animal devotee he feels hangdog about this . But you ca n’t be a gardener without the remaining bit of slaughter . To make up for all the mollusc massacre Bertie and Beatrice lavish affection on the pigeon nesting in the garden .

There are not just monumental hostas but just look at the size of it of this Japanese forest grassHakonechloa macra .

And I would wish to know how he getsHydrangea paniculatato calculate as safe as this . The endearing silvern willow tree behind the hydrangea isSalix exigua .

There is a woods of tree diagram ferns .
The pallet is mostly greenish but with punctuation marks of colour here and there .
As the daylight light began to fade twinkly lights came on , each with its own homemade shade .

The other evening light was beautiful .
And the sunset over the river was spectacular .
When it was properly dark the jetty was transform into phantasy world .

Thank you darling Boaties for a magical evening in your own personal Paradise .

How beautiful . An idyllic place to spend a utter eve . It ’s obvious your Boaties shower a great deal of attention on the little Eden .
I ’m always impressed at how spectacular this seawall garden look . I wish I could grow tree ferns half that well ! The roosting pigeon is a sweet thing .
Now that is fun ! It almost looks more luscious at night than during the day . A gross background for the warmer seasons !
