Q: How often do you go grocery shopping?

The big shop is once a month , and get pocket-size or perishable item as needed via curbside . For veg , we " shop " the garden , which is one of the best impression ever !

Q: What’s your average weekly grocery budget?

$ 150 max .

Q: Do you make a grocery list?

Absolutely . I would buy all kinds of crazy things otherwise ! Our list is the same calendar month over calendar month but if I need to try something newfangled or that I do n’t make often , I have to tote up it to the list . The whole family adds to it as needed .

Q: What grocery stores do you shop at most frequently?

HEB and Kroger .

Q: Who is going to cook dinner?

I am . Hubby might grill sometimes and he almost always makes the Sir Tim Rice for me .

Q: What are things you always have in your fridge or pantry?

dry beans and grain are always in the buttery along with canned tuna , olives and play , shaped alimentary paste , Solanum tuberosum , and onions . I always have to have ail and gingerroot around too !

Q: How do you share the labor of cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping?

I usually make , hubby clean and jerk . In general , whoever ready , does n’t cleanse but I tend to pick as I go so there ’s never really a vainglorious mess in the kitchen . We " share " the grocery shopping . I normally ordinate curbside and hubby may piece it up . Typically , if we call for something immediate , married man will intercept in for that .

Q: What are your go-to meals or family-favorite recipes?

Chicken and ricepilaf is our son ’s favourite . I make it a gross ton of different elbow room including curry - style , Mediterranean - style , paella - flair , you name it . We usually have a version of this once a week .

Q: Do you cook daily or do you meal prep for the week?

I cook every day .

Q: What was the last meal you cooked at home?

Salisbury steak , by asking

Q: Would you make it again?

Of naturally . Sundays are steak Nox in our home . That typically stand for a rightful gripe steak ( ribeye ) but can also meanSalisbury steak , Opuntia tuna or salmon steak , or a roast .

Q: Do you often have dessert with dinner?

Not really . I attempt to keep somehomemade cookiesor a cake around at all times but my house just eat them whenever they feel like it , not needs for dessert .
